Call for submissions

We are building the first shelf. That means the catalog is still thin on purpose. If you already have a story on Wattpad, AO3, or in a drawer, and you own it, you can bring it here.

• You keep the rights. Novyla does not own your book. You can keep it up elsewhere.
• Tips go to you. Put your PayPal, GCash, Ko-fi, or any link on your profile. Readers tap Tip. The money never passes through us. We take nothing.
• Readers do not need an account. They open a chapter and read. Accounts are for saving a place and following you.
• We stay small. Apply with a real Chapter 1, not a teaser. We read every opening.

What to send

1. A working title and the genres that fit (more than one is fine).
2. A short pitch. What the book is, not a tagline only.
3. Chapter 1, at least 800 words. A prologue plus Chapter 1 is welcome.
4. Original work you have the right to post.

You will get an email when we decide. If we say yes, Write unlocks and we send you the next steps: cover, chapters, publish, tip link.

What we are looking for

Fiction that sounds like a person wrote it. Romance, fantasy, thriller, literary, queer stories, quiet books, messy ones. We care that the first chapter is finished and worth sitting with. We do not need a following. We do not need it to be new, only that it is yours.
